Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Sojka (ranked 1286 p4p, 960 weight class) and Timo Leyton (ranked 174 p4p, 132 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Albert Sojka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timo Leyton!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sojka misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Leyton.
Sojka sizes up Leyton with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Sojka misses with an uppercut.
Leyton fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sojka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
And Leyton tries to counter it with a takedown but Sojka pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Sojka fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Leyton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sojka clobbers Leyton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sojka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Leyton avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sojka connects with the punch.
Leyton shoots for a takedown but Sojka saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Leyton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Leyton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sojka's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sojka scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Leyton doesn't seem bothered though.

Leyton drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sojka defends it well.

Sojka connects with a body shot that sends Leyton's belly button to the back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leyton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sojka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Leyton looks up at the clock and then as Sojka takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Leyton smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sojka throws Leyton to one side and escapes!
Sojka lands a nice looking body shot.
Sojka stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sojka wants it to stay on the feet.
Leyton moves forwards but Sojka connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sojka throws a hook to the side of Leyton's head but Leyton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Leyton with the counter takedown but Sojka avoids it easily.

Sojka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A combination from Sojka does no damage.
Leyton gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Leyton dives in and grabs Sojka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sojka pushes down on Leyton's head and hops out.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sojka is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Leyton.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Leyton.
Sojka defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Leyton.
Sojka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sojka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sojka feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Leytons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Leyton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sojka manages to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Leyton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Sojka slaps away a takedown attempt from Leyton, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Sojka gets in close and tags Leyton with a short punch that almost sends Leyton to the mat! Oh Leyton is in big trouble! He turns his back on Sojka, trying to create some distance but Sojka rushes him, striking wildly and Leyton goes down! The referee tackles Sojka into the cage to end the fight! Sojka is one violent man!
