Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Buzz Bullard (ranked 1871 p4p, 4146 weight class) and Iwill Kicku (ranked 113 p4p, 223 weight class). Kicku has chosen Just Kickin' it as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Buzz Bullard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Iwill Kicku!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kicku takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A telegraphed right hand from Bullard misses the target.
Buzz Bullard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bullard gets tackled into the cage by Kicku. Kicku maintains the clinch.
Bullard pulls Kicku into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bullard holds on and takes a little breather.

Bullard lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Bullard is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Kicku is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bullard definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bullard is pushing down on Kicku's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kicku is fighting to maintain full guard but Bullard has managed to sneak the leg through.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kicku is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bullard scores with a couple of nice shots.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bullard in particular looking to stall.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bullard lands a nice short elbow.
Well, if Bullard is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kicku really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bullard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bullard winds up and cracks Kicku with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kicku can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bullard seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Bullard throws out a loose jab but Kicku uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kicku replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Bullard blocks it well.
Kicku fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bullard, pushing him back against the cage.

Bullard throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Kicku's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Bullard blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kicku tries to land knees in the clinch but Bullard avoids the damage to the body.
Bullard lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Bullard fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Kicku successfully pulls guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kicku has momentary wrist control but Bullard slips an elbow through the middle.
Kicku can't keep his opponent in guard - Bullard advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bullard is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kicku sees it coming and defends easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bullard content to control rather than advance.
Buzz Bullard overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kicku is defending against the submission attempts here by Bullard.

Bullard is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kicku is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Buzz Bullard opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
Iwill Kicku spoke after the fight, saying 'Broke my toe early in the fight, I demand a rematch. '.
