And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Welbeck!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Little One lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Welbeck backs up against the cage.
Little One really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Welbeck scores with a takedown into Little One's guard.
Little One is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Welbeck is controlling him.
Welbeck pushes down on Little One's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Little One jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Welbeck chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Little One can pounce on him.
Welbeck drops his hands momentarily and Little One takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Welbeck throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Little One throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Little One knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Welbeck on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close round but I would say that Odin Little One will probably get the nod.

Little One tries to bum rush Welbeck with a series of wild strikes but Welbeck uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Little One misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A nice inside leg kick there by Welbeck. That's going to slow Little One down.
Little One looks to land a combination but Welbeck avoids it well.

and Welbeck counters with a three punch combo that has Little One backing up. Little One nods at Welbeck to acknowledge the strikes.

Welbeck shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Little One pinned against the cage. Little One gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Welbeck has managed to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Little One jumps guard but Welbeck turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Little One jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Welbeck walks away with a smile on his face. Little One gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Little One is trying to drag Welbeck to the mat but Welbeck just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Danny Welbeck decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
