Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Well Rounded (ranked 3711 p4p, 4700 weight class) and Hanan Pacha (ranked 429 p4p, 489 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacha takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rounded pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Pacha has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Rounded is on him like a limpet, forcing Pacha back against the cage.

Rounded definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Well Rounded seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pacha throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rounded.

Pacha felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Rounded drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pacha manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rounded has Pacha in his guard.

Rounded is looking for a sweep. Pacha is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Pacha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rounded. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pacha stands up out of the half guard.
Rounded fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rounded is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hanan Pacha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pacha with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rounded to score with a decent uppercut.

Rounded throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pacha's waist but Pacha gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rounded off to one side.

Pacha is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rounded tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rounded has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
