Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darstknasset Oystenteller (ranked 892 p4p, 2055 weight class) and Jake Jones (ranked 132 p4p, 275 weight class). Jake Jones will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Darstknasset Oystenteller!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jake Jones!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oystenteller uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones.

Jones throws out a counter right but Oystenteller avoids it with no problem.

and Oystenteller counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jones won't be happy with that.
Oystenteller scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jones to see if he's OK.
Oystenteller has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.

Oystenteller swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jones is now in Oystenteller's guard. A big mistake from Oystenteller there, giving up the dominant position!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Darstknasset Oystenteller will probably get the nod.

Oystenteller is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Jones with him. Jones is trying to defend but Oystenteller has an arm under the chin now! Jones grimaces and is forced to tap out!
