Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Renji Abarai (ranked 287 p4p, 238 weight class) and Dmitri Kersikov (ranked 29 p4p, 22 weight class). Kersikov has chosen Builder - Her Voice (Headhunterz Remix) as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Renji Abarai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dmitri Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abarai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kersikov throws out a counter right but Abarai avoids it with no problem.
A big right from Abarai misses.

and Kersikov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Renji Abarai has been cut.

Kersikov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Abarai fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kersikov.

It seemed like Kersikov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Kersikov finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Kersikov moves forwards but Abarai connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kersikov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Kersikov on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kersikov cracks Abarai with a left hook right on the temple and Abarai goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Kersikov lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Abarai is OK!

After winning the bout, Dmitri Kersikov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
