Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jing Lliang LI (ranked 25003 p4p, 23825 weight class) and Jaz Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jing Lliang LI!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 43 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jaz Moore!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LI tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Moore looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

LI moves into range and clinches up with Moore.
LI lands an uppercut.
LI content to slow the pace in the clinch.
LI swings wildly with an uppercut but Moore uses good head movement to avoid it.
Moore being controlled against the cage.
Moore has had enough of the clinch but LI keeps him there for the moment.
A bit of stalling here from LI.
Moore tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. LI smiles and moves away.
A head kick from LI lands but Moore takes it in his stride.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moore gets tackled into the cage by LI. LI maintains the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Moore.

LI pulls guard effortlessly.
Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but LI is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Moore missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
LI striking off his back but it's not causing Moore any problems.
LI wants to stand and escape but Moore is having none of it.
Moore with a flurry of punches that miss.
LI not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Moore's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Moore working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
LI keeping moving, preventing Moore from controlling successfully.

LI throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
LI wants to get back to his feet but Moore is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Moore shoots in but no luck this time.
LI half committed to a counter leg kick.
Moore takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Moore's coach down at Pure Progress Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Moore's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Moore takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Moore takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
LI moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
LI smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
LI looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Moore shoots in and drives through. LI sprawls well.
Jing Lliang LI has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaz Moore.
LI moves into range and connects with a jab.

LI feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Moores jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
LI lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Moore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around LI's waist but LI gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moore off to one side.
LI catches Moore with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
LI connects with a crisp jab.
LI connects with a looping right hand.
LI slaps away a takedown attempt from Moore, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Moore tries to sprawl but LI drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Moore pushes LI off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
LI connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Some wild striking there from Moore.
LI lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Moore drives through with a takedown into guard.

LI uses the cage to get back to his feet.
LI fails with an attempt to clinch.
LI with a nice calf kick.
Moore fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Moore shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

LI looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
LI lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moore looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Moore is trying to defend against the ground and pound but LI scores with a couple of nice shots.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jing Lliang LI dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

LI's corner calls for a 1-2. LI obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
LI is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Moore can do to turn this around?
Moore tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but LI defends well and Moore ends up having to push LI into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
LI is looking to counter punch.
LI is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
LI keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
LI darts in looking for a takedown but Moore gets double underhooks and turns LI into the cage.
Moore tries to pull guard but LI holds him up against the cage and eventually Moore drops back down to his feet.

LI has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Moore regains guard immediately.
LI is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

LI stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moore swivels though and keeps the full guard.

LI wants to take a breather but Moore is having none of it.

Moore on the wrong end of a nice hook.
LI throws a push kick but Moore slaps the foot to one side.
Moore walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Jing Lliang LI has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaz Moore.

Moore fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but LI avoids it really well and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Moore got a little sloppy there for a moment and LI has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Moore has managed to get both his arms back between LI's legs - danger averted.
Moore has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Moore seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Moore passes LI's left leg - he's now in half guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by LI or perhaps it was just good defense by Moore, which made it look bad.

LI lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

LI wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Moore manages to pass to side control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Moore connects with a nice short shot to LI's temple.

Moore seems to be looking for submissions.

Moore looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
LI wants to get back to his feet.
Moore winds up and cracks LI with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Moore wants to take a breather but LI is having none of it.
Jaz Moore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Moore looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks LI with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
LI is looking for a sweep. Moore is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Moore is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Moore landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Moore lands a nice short elbow.
Moore drops an elbow to the side of LI's head.
Moore lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

LI is trying to stand back up but Moore is controlling him
LI has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moore is working away from the top position though.

Moore seems to be working for a kimura but LI defends the submission attempt.

Moore is sneakily working for an arm triangle but LI sees it coming and defends easily.
LI wants to control but Moore is keeping busy.

Moore is looking for a kimura but LI is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Moore to get the leverage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
