Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tagnarach Kamara (ranked 47 p4p, 716 weight class) and Jim Babcock (ranked 6 p4p, 99 weight class). Kamara kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is BLIND SPOTS. Babcock has chosen San Francisco Live Medley as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Babcock!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babcock with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kamara counters with a head kick. That will keep Babcock thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Kamara misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kamara throws a shot from downtown. Babcock moves away and avoids it.
Babcock tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Babcock connects with an inside leg kick.
Kamara misses with a body kick.
Babcock lands with a nice body kick.
Kamara has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Babcock.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Babcock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kamara stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kamara looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tagnarach Kamara is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A big right from Kamara misses.
Babcock stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kamara.
Babcock dives in and grabs Kamara's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kamara pushes down on Babcock's head and hops out.
Tagnarach Kamara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Babcock.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Babcock buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Babcock throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Babcock. Kamara shrugs it off though.
Kamara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Babcock manages to avoid it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tagnarach Kamara will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jim Babcock's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Kamara throws a hook to the side of Babcock's head but Babcock sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kamara scores with a jab to the body.
Kamara ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Babcock moves away.
Kamara takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and Kamara counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kamara throws a body punch but Babcock moves out of range.
Babcock feints and then cracks Kamara's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kamara down.
Babcock is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kamara rather than just go for the knockout.

Kamara is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Kamara looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Babcock throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That kick from Babcock tenderised Kamara's leg. Kamara is trying to keep his angry face on.
Babcock fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kamara has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Babcock takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A jab from Babcock finds it's way through Kamara's defenses.

Babcock uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kamara.
Kamara ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Babcock moves away.
Kamara takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Babcock avoids a kick to the body.
Kamara fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Babcock is out of range.
Babcock changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Kamara lands with a hook. Babcock tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Babcock tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kamara manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kamara drops Babcock with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Babcock looks back up at him and smiles so Kamara waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kamara tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Babcock misses with the body kick
and Kamara cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Babcock is rocked!
Babcock lands a head kick. Kamara smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Babcock takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
and Kamara counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Babcock! He's just covering up as Kamara starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tagnarach Kamara!

Our winner, Tagnarach Kamara, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
