Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bam Bam Joshy!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joshy throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kersikov counters with a straight right hand.
Kersikov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Joshy.
Joshy throws a jab but it's blocked by Kersikov.
Joshy digs a good body shot into Kersikov's ribs.
Joshy throws a big shot that misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Kersikov misses the target.
Joshy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kersikov.
A little feinted left hand from Kersikov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Joshy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kersikov manages to avoid it.
That kick from Joshy tenderised Kersikov's leg. Kersikov is trying to keep his angry face on.

Joshy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kersikov momentarily.
Joshy swings widly with a right hand
and Kersikov counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Joshy off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Kersikov follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Joshy was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dmitri Kersikov!
After winning the bout, Dmitri Kersikov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
