Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Winston Todd (ranked 55 p4p, 68 weight class) and Mickey Garcia (ranked 8 p4p, 10 weight class). Todd comes to the cage accompanied by Piano Man. Garcia has chosen S.G. Sinnicks - St Patrick Battalion as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mickey Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia misses with a hook
and Todd cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Mickey Garcia has been cut.
Garcia lands a really nice looking cross but Todd seems unphased.
Todd swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Garcia tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Todd was well out of range. Poor timing from Garcia.

Todd with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Garcia to score with a decent uppercut.
Garcia tries to bum rush Todd with a series of wild strikes but Todd uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Garcia closes the distance and clinches.
Garcia presses Todd against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Garcia told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Garcia tries a body shot but Todd blocks it.
Todd has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Garcia prevents Todd from breaking the clinch.
Garcia tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Todd smiles and moves away.

and Todd counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Garcia doesn't manage to clinch there - Todd circles away.
Garcia fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Garcia misses with a body shot.
Todd uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Garcia.
Todd throws a looping overhand right but Garcia ducks down to avoid it.
Garcia thuds a left hand into Todd's body.
Todd throws a wild body kick that Garcia sees coming a mile off.
Garcia rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Todd makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Garcia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Todd manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Todd scores with a hook to the body. Garcia takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Garcia closes the distance but Todd moves to the side
enabling Todd to counter with a crisp jab.

and Garcia takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Todd dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Garcia. That did some damage!
Garcia is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Todd.
Garcia takes a swing at Todd's ribcage but misses.

and Todd counters with a nice right hand that sends Garcia toppling to the canvas! Garcia scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Todd finish him?!
Garcia is rocked!
Garcia walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Todd! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Winston Todd was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Mickey Garcia stepped up to the mic, saying 'Can't believe the commission let me fight with Hep C...'.
