Reeves comes into the arena with Ace Hood - We Ball blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Solomon Pruitt!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pruitt on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
No joy there for Reeves, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pruitt with a poor takedown
and Reeves counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Solomon Pruitt has been cut.
Pruitt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Reeves throws out the jab.
Pruitt pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Reeves uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pruitt.

Reeves on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

A swing and a miss from Pruitt.
Reeves buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pruitt on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Pruitt lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reeves's sensitive parts.
Reeves feints and then cracks Pruitt's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pruitt down.

Reeves throws a lazy right hand but Pruitt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nice uppercut lands for Pruitt. That snapped Reeves's head back.
Pruitt getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Reeves swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pruitt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reeves as he jumps to the side.
Pruitt throws a looping overhand right but Reeves ducks down to avoid it.
Reeves swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Reeves staying out of range there.

Pruitt chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Pruitt lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Reeves falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pruitt counters with a straight right hand.
Reeves misses with a low kick.
Reeves misses with an uppercut.
Pruitt looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Reeves connects with a jab.

Reeves misses with a straight left.
Reeves walks into a jab.

Pruitt shoots in but Reeves avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Keywon Reeves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Solomon Pruitt.

Pruitt lands a leg kick that knocks Reeves off balance momentarily.
Pruitt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Reeves jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Pruitt throws a chopping leg kick but Reeves manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Pruitt slips under a jab from Reeves.
Pruitt lands with a straight right. Reeves didn't see that one coming.
Pruitt throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pruitt moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Reeves jabbing away but nothing is landing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pruitt with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Reeves to score with a decent uppercut.
Pruitt throws a leg kick
and Pruitt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
BAM! Reeves delivers a spinning backfist that drops Pruitt like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Keywon Reeves!
A relieved looking Keywon Reeves thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
