The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Betiskuda as Gum shoots in.
Gum tries for a takedown but Betiskuda sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Betiskuda throws a quick counter head kick but Gum was just out of range.

Gum closes the distance and clinches.
Betiskuda working hard to break the clinch.
Betiskuda is trying to push Gum away but Gum has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Betiskuda.
Betiskuda's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
A nice left hand lands by Betiskuda.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gum trying to stall but Betiskuda improves his position.

Gum's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mario Betiskuda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juicy Gum.
Gum shoots in looking for a takedown but Betiskuda manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gum's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Betiskuda avoids the body shot from Gum.
Betiskuda went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Betiskuda leaves Gum with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Gum tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Betiskuda swivels and escapes.

Betiskuda drops Gum with a straight right hand, right on the button! Betiskuda follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
