The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Barnes tries to clinch but Kyng is having none of it.

Kyng stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kyng wants it to stay on the feet.

We've been hearing good reports from Barnes's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Barnes is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kyng has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Barnes is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kyng to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kyng shrugs it off.
