And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Gonzalez there.
James shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gonzalez but Gonzalez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gonzalez tries to counter with a takedown but James is quick to defend against it.
Gonzalez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as James backs up against the cage.
James is rocked!
It looks like John James has been cut.
Gonzalez swings for the body but James moves out of range.
James is still on wobbly legs! Can Gonzalez finish him?
James misses with a kick to the body.
Gonzalez is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from James.
James seems to have recovered his senses.
James has Gonzalez up against the cage in a clinch.
Gonzalez misses with an elbow strike.
James breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gonzalez lands a big head kick that sends James to the canvas! Gonzalez follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
