Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Lewis (ranked 130 p4p, 339 weight class) and Arto Jarvinen (ranked 19 p4p, 51 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arto Jarvinen!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvinen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lewis.
Lewis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lewis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Lewis slips a jab from Jarvinen.
Lewis quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Lewis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Jarvinen!

Lewis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jarvinen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Lewis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jarvinen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jarvinen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lewis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Lewis is looking to take a break and control but Jarvinen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jarvinen wants to control but Lewis postures up.
Lewis postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Lewis swings around for an armbar but Jarvinen sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lewis's guard.

Lewis is looking for a sweep.
Lewis manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jarvinen's best efforts.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lewis is trying to escape the mount.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Derrick Lewis will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

It looks like Derrick Lewis has been cut.
Lewis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Jarvinen throws an overhand right that lands on Lewis's shoulder, as Lewis tries to avoid the shot.
Lewis avoids the body shot from Jarvinen.
Good standup being displayed there by Jarvinen as he connects with a hook.

Lewis is rocked!
Lewis switches off momentarily and Jarvinen cracks him with a monster right hand! Lewis topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Jarvinen dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Jarvinen!

A very excited looking Arto Jarvinen made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
