Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Didi Perusinac (ranked 5051 p4p, 5572 weight class) and Nick Gage (ranked 476 p4p, 518 weight class). Didi Perusinac has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Didi Perusinac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nick Gage!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Gage catches Perusinac right on the button with a cross.
Perusinac keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gage.
Perusinac went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Perusinac clinches with his opponent.
Gage turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gage manages to end up in side control.
Perusinac bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Gage lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gage throws a shot from downtown. Perusinac moves away and avoids it.
Perusinac has Gage up against the cage in a clinch.
Gage blocking some punches.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gage has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Gage has hold of one of Perusinac's legs. Perusinac is fighting the takedown attempt but Gage gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gage sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Gage trying to control but Perusinac is working from the bottom.
Gage pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Perusinac is keeping the position for now.

Gage wants to control from the top but Perusinac keeps moving.
Gage drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gage jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perusinac working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gage doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gage manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Perusinac is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gage wants to control from the top but Perusinac keeps moving.
Gage looking to sit in guard and control but Perusinac gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Perusinac in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Gage working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Perusinac doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Gage is tightening it up a little... Perusinac has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Perusinac reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Perusinac taps out! Nice BJJ there by Gage!
