Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Ahearn (ranked 1559 p4p, 1509 weight class) and Jack Hakansson (ranked 203 p4p, 197 weight class). Jack Hakansson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Hakansson!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahearn connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hakansson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ahearn is looking to counter punch.
Hakansson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Hakansson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ahearn's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hakansson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ahearn's guard.

Hakansson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ahearn is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ahearn and Hakansson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Hakansson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ahearn has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hakansson but great work by Ahearn.

Ahearn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hakansson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ahearn has managed to get both his arms back between Hakansson's legs - danger averted.
