PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Daniel Dimitrov (ranked 18108 p4p, 22427 weight class) and Arild Ringnes (ranked 254 p4p, 255 weight class). Dimitrov comes into the arena with Drake - Energy blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimitrov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ringnes under the eye.

It looks like Arild Ringnes has been cut.
Dimitrov tries to land a body kick
and Ringnes counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Ringnes connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Daniel Dimitrov has been cut.
Dimitrov throws a front kick aimed at Ringnes 's knee but Ringnes avoids it well.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dimitrov. That's going to slow Ringnes down.
Dimitrov checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dimitrov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ringnes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ringnes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Ringnes now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Dimitrov scoring well with a low kick there.
Dimitrov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ringnes sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dimitrov walks into a jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Ringnes misses the target.
Ringnes lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ringnes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dimitrov.
Daniel Dimitrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dimitrov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ringnes wants to clinch up but Dimitrov keeps it at a distance.
Dimitrov moves out of range as Ringnes strikes.
Dimitrov throws a sloppy head kick and Ringnes moves out of range easily.

Dimitrov throws a right and a left that both miss.

Ringnes closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Dimitrov crashing to the mat! Dimitrov uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Ringnes scores with a leg kick.
Dimitrov throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ringnes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dimitrov tries to get into range but Ringnes steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Dimitrov! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Ringnes scores the big KO victory!
