Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Don Crenshaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with an uppercut. Crenshaw saw that one coming.
Crenshaw rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Crenshaw lands with a kick to the ribs.
A head kick misses from Jackson.
Crenshaw throws a big shot that misses.
Crenshaw lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jackson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Crenshaw connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nice body punch from Jackson.
Jackson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Crenshaw avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crenshaw pinned against the cage. Crenshaw gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Crenshaw seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Crenshaw has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Chikara MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Crenshaw scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like Nick Jackson has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Crenshaw. That snapped Jackson's head back.
Jackson throws a body kick that misses.
Crenshaw tries a head kick but it misses.
Crenshaw displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson.
Don Crenshaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Jackson.
Crenshaw chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jackson can pounce on him.
Jackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Crenshaw.

Jackson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Crenshaw throws a head kick that misses.

Crenshaw tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Jackson manages to circle out of the way.
Jackson avoids the head kick by Crenshaw.

Crenshaw moves away from the strike by Jackson.
Crenshaw lands a front kick.
Crenshaw goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jackson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Crenshaw throws a half hearted mid kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson avoids the body shot from Crenshaw.
Crenshaw throws a hook but Jackson blocks it.
Crenshaw takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Jackson throws a lazy uppercut
and Crenshaw counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jackson thinking.
Crenshaw missing with a left hand there. Jackson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jackson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Crenshaw.
Crenshaw connects with a high kick.

Jackson is rocked!
Crenshaw plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Jackson swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Jackson face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Don Crenshaw!
A relieved looking Don Crenshaw thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
