The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve throws the left hand but Line avoids the punch easily.
Steve uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Line.
Gothic Line seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steve throws a jab when Line was well out of range.
Steve fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Line manages to avoid it.
Line ducks under a wild hook from Steve.
A jab from Line finds it's way through Steve's defenses.

It looks like Yago Steve has been cut.
Line looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Line throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Steve makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Line ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Line forces Steve back against the cage and clinches.
Steve throws a punch but it's blocked by Line.

Steve's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Line darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

and Line counters with a nice right hand that sends Steve toppling to the canvas! Steve scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Line finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Line throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Steve swings widly with a right hand
and Line counters with a nice uppercut.
Steve misses with a low kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by Line!

Line cracks Steve with an open hand slap.
Line throws a big shot that misses.
Steve keeps Line at a distance using the push kick.
Line lands a front kick.
Steve looks winded!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Steve counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Line lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Line has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Line moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Line dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Line cracks Steve with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Steve looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Line finish him?

Line measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Steve! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
