The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Dilbrandt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dilbrandt misses with a body punch
and Helix counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Domonic Dilbrandt has been cut.
Dilbrandt looks to land a left hand but Helix moved out of range nicely.
Dilbrandt throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Helix has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Primal Concrete Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Helix needs to keep his hands up - Dilbrandt had a free shot at his head there.
Helix uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dilbrandt.
A little feinted left hand from Helix on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Dilbrandt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Dilbrandt looks for the body kick but Helix saw that one coming.
Dilbrandt throws a hook to the side of Helix's head but Helix sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dilbrandt takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dilbrandt takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Helix tries to close the distance and clinch but Dilbrandt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Dilbrandt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Domonic Dilbrandt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Helix throws a shot from downtown. Dilbrandt moves away and avoids it.
Dilbrandt scores with a decent looking hook.
Helix lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dilbrandt's sensitive parts.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Dilbrandt.
Dilbrandt misses with a hook. Helix ducked under it nicely.

and Helix counters with a head kick that wobbles Dilbrandt - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Helix sends him down. This one is all over!
