Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Sojka (ranked 1978 p4p, 1269 weight class) and Roman Reyes (ranked 265 p4p, 173 weight class). Reyes has chosen Zack Hemsey - Vengeance as his entrance music. Roman Reyes struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roman Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sojka avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sojka moves away from the strike by Reyes.
Reyes throws a push kick but Sojka slaps the foot to one side.
Sojka throws a body punch but Reyes moves out of range.
Sojka connects with a jab.
Reyes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sojka misses with a looping left.
Both fighters circling a little - Reyes finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Sojka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reyes moves away.
Sojka has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Reyes finds it's way round the side to connect with Sojka's head.
Sojka moves out of range as Reyes strikes.
Sojka throws an overhand right that lands on Reyes's shoulder, as Reyes tries to avoid the shot.
Sojka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sojka moves in looking to clinch but Reyes pushes him off.
Sojka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Reyes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Reyes uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sojka slips a straight right by Reyes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sojka uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Reyes.

Reyes told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
