Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Braynas Hlervu (ranked 7 p4p, 52 weight class) and Lusmu Kutvonen (ranked 1 p4p, 3 weight class). Hlervu comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Me The Horizon - Can You Feel My Heart (Jeris Johnson Remix). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Braynas Hlervu!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Lusmu Kutvonen!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hlervu tests Kutvonen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kutvonen sizes up Hlervu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A left and a right from Hlervu both land. Nice combination.
Kutvonen shoots in looking for a takedown but Hlervu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kutvonen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hlervu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hlervu looks to throw the jab but Kutvonen is out of range.
Hlervu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kutvonen's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kutvonen duly obliges.

Kutvonen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Kutvonen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hlervu was covering up waiting for the punch and Kutvonen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

My spies in The Infamous Duranto Gym inform me that Kutvonen has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Braynas Hlervu will probably get the nod.
That's time! Hlervu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kutvonen might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Hlervu sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Kutvonen's defenses. It connects perfectly with Kutvonen's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Braynas Hlervu seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Lusmu Kutvonen spoke after the fight, saying 'Suattaa vituttaa tai olla vituttamatta. Vuan tiältä myö tullaan, oottakeepa vuan!'.
