Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes to the cage accompanied by Pride Theme. Ivan Drago will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago connects with a looping right hand.
Drago tries a head kick but it misses.
Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Drago but Drago pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Emelianenko slips a jab and a cross from Drago.
Emelianenko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Emelianenko closes the distance and clinches up with Drago, looking for a takedown. Emelianenko pushes Drago against the cage but Drago circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Emelianenko takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Emelianenko fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Drago pushes Emelianenko away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Emelianenko gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Drago is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Look low, kick high! Drago uses the oldest trick in the book to send Emelianenko tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Drago is absolutely delighted - when Emelianenko wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
