Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Manfred (ranked 4773 p4p, 4855 weight class) and Anton Narbe (ranked 545 p4p, 547 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narbe with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Narbe tries to sprawl but Manfred drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Narbe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Narbe wants to get back to his feet.
Manfred works his way into side control.
Manfred takes a little break here. Narbe wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Manfred remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Manfred jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Narbe walks away with a smile on his face. Manfred gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Manfred decides to stand back up. Manfred steps back and let's Narbe get back to his feet.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Narbe, as that shot connected.

and Manfred counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Manfred.

Manfred is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Narbe knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Manfred decides to stand back up. Manfred steps back and let's Narbe get back to his feet.
Narbe is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Manfred had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Manfred closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Manfred rushes Narbe and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Manfred is trying to maintain a safe position but Narbe gets an underhook and turns Manfred into the cage.
Narbe wants to break the clinch but can't.
Manfred using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Narbe has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Manfred has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Narbe is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Narbe has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Manfred has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Narbe finds it's way round the side to connect with Manfred's head.

Narbe might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Manfred throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Narbe was covering up waiting for the punch and Manfred finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Manfred slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Narbe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Narbe is looking to stand up but Manfred isn't so interested in that idea.
