Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaven Mcqueen (ranked 5671 p4p, 4038 weight class) and Timothy McMahon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timothy McMahon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Mcqueen as McMahon shoots in.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

McMahon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Mcqueen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force McMahon to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so McMahon shrugs it off.

Mcqueen sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mcqueen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
McMahon jumps guard but Mcqueen stands there with McMahon around his waist. McMahon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

McMahon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mcqueen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mcqueen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McMahon sprawls well. McMahon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mcqueen gets slowly back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Mcqueen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Mcqueen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McMahon as he avoids it easily.
McMahon wants to counter with a clinch but Mcqueen pushes him away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gaven Mcqueen .
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mcqueen , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
