Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rokken Roll (ranked 540 p4p, 361 weight class) and Jian Zhao (ranked 89 p4p, 53 weight class). Zhao has chosen Dirty Harry (Schtung Chinese New Year Remix) - Gorillaz as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rokken Roll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jian Zhao!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rokken Roll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rokken Roll will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Zhao lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Roll has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Roll and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Zhao cracks Roll with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Zhao enables Roll to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Zhao manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Zhao pushes Roll off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zhao has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Roll is proving hard to escape from.
Roll is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Zhao frees his head nicely. Oh but Roll has switched to an armbar! Zhao is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
