PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mon Battleaxe (ranked 5424 p4p, 2984 weight class) and Doppo Orochi (ranked 217 p4p, 106 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battleaxe tries to clinch but Orochi is having none of it.
A nice leg kick from Orochi, right into the meat of the thigh.

Battleaxe shoots in and gets a takedown into Orochi's guard.
Battleaxe engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Orochi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Battleaxe defends well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Battleaxe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Orochi seems keen to control Battleaxe's posture.

Battleaxe is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Orochi has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Battleaxe is looking to defend but Orochi has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Battleaxe! Orochi pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Battleaxe taps out and this one is all over!
