Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darstknasset Oystenteller (ranked 1272 p4p, 1685 weight class) and Roman Anpastapoulos (ranked 180 p4p, 228 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Darstknasset Oystenteller!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roman Anpastapoulos!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oystenteller misses with a straight left.
Darstknasset Oystenteller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oystenteller keeps the fight on the outside.
Anpastapoulos tries to close the distance and clinch but Oystenteller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Anpastapoulos doesn't manage to clinch there - Oystenteller circles away.
Oystenteller definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Oystenteller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anpastapoulos was well out of range. Poor timing from Oystenteller.

Oystenteller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Anpastapoulos looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Oystenteller puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Anpastapoulos trying to control but Oystenteller postures up.

Anpastapoulos is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Oystenteller pulls his head out easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anpastapoulos controlling the position for now.
Anpastapoulos moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Anpastapoulos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Oystenteller manages to get himself to full guard.

Anpastapoulos wants to pass the guard but Oystenteller is keeping the position.
Anpastapoulos looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Oystenteller wants to improve his position but instead Anpastapoulos has moved into half guard.
Anpastapoulos tries to pass the half guard into mount. Oystenteller knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Anpastapoulos trying to control the action but Oystenteller is working from the bottom.

Anpastapoulos wants to pass the guard but Oystenteller is defending well.
Anpastapoulos prevents Oystenteller from improving his position.
Anpastapoulos keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Anpastapoulos uses his free foot to push down on Oystenteller's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Oystenteller.
Anpastapoulos looking to control but Oystenteller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Oystenteller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Oystenteller has given up his back here. Will Anpastapoulos look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Oystenteller looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anpastapoulos trying to control momentarily.

A close round but Roman Anpastapoulos will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.


Oystenteller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Oystenteller passes into side control, despite Anpastapoulos's attempt to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oystenteller wants to control but Anpastapoulos is keeping him busy.

Oystenteller sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Anpastapoulos is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Anpastapoulos manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Darstknasset Oystenteller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Oystenteller avoids the attempt from Anpastapoulos to control.
Anpastapoulos is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Oystenteller is staying active.

Anpastapoulos tries to improve his position but Oystenteller has taken his back! Oystenteller has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Anpastapoulos tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Oystenteller pushes Anpastapoulos away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
