Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dakoda Wyatt (ranked 2432 p4p, 2580 weight class) and Deacon Jenkins (ranked 320 p4p, 351 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jenkins. Wyatt does a little dance to reset his feet.

Jenkins closes the distance and pushes Wyatt back into the cage.
Jenkins can't find room to land a body shot as Wyatt controls the action.
Wyatt can't break the clinch.
Wyatt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jenkins fails to pull guard.
Wyatt wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wyatt wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jenkins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wyatt is one step ahead there.

Jenkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wyatt wants to control but Jenkins is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Wyatt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jenkins is working away from the top position though.
Wyatt is controlling Jenkins's trapped leg to prevent Jenkins from advancing to side control.

Jenkins is keen to just control but Wyatt is a slippery customer.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jenkins in particular looking to stall.

Jenkins is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wyatt is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Deacon Jenkins really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Primal logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
