Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Small Richard (ranked 2017 p4p, 4017 weight class) and Pontimonious Symphony (ranked 185 p4p, 333 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pontimonious Symphony!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Symphony scores with a four punch combination!
Richard shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Symphony counters with a series of strikes. Richard will be more careful next time no doubt.

Oooooh!!! Symphony has knocked Richard down with a huge combo! Symphony steps away and waves a wobbly Richard back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Richard is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Symphony feints and as Richard raises his hands in defense, Symphony changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Oh Richard is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Symphony must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Symphony got a little sloppy there for a moment and Richard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Symphony has managed to get both his arms back between Richard's legs - danger averted.

Richard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Symphony can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Richard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Symphony gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Richard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Symphony swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Richard is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Symphony doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Richard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Richard is taking a breather. Symphony says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Richard seems to be looking for submissions.

That's time! Richard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Symphony ducks under a wild hook from Richard.
Symphony stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Symphony wants it to stay on the feet.
Symphony throws a counter combo.
Pontimonious Symphony is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Richard looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Symphony!

Richard has hold of Symphony's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Symphony seems comfortable defending it but Richard has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Symphony is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Symphony is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Richard couldn't care less - he's delighted!
