Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Musa Vitalik (ranked 1740 p4p, 1738 weight class) and David Hanson (ranked 267 p4p, 266 weight class). Vitalik comes to the cage accompanied by Planet Purge - Midnight Tyrannosaurus & Ehide. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Musa Vitalik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, David Hanson!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A jab from Vitalik finds it's way through Hanson's defenses.
A big right from Vitalik misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hanson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Vitalik jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Vitalik has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ludus Magnus in the buildup to the fight.

Vitalik lands a big uppercut and Hanson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hanson looks OK. Vitalik waves Hanson back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vitalik misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And Hanson tries to counter it with a takedown but Vitalik pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Vitalik throws out a loose jab but Hanson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Vitalik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hanson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hanson shapes to counter with a head kick.
Hanson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vitalik.

Hanson drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hanson drops back looking for a leg! Vitalik is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vitalik manages to kick Hanson off! Hanson jumps back into Vitalik's guard.

Vitalik is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Hanson presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hanson can't get the takedown.
Hanson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Vitalik pulls his leg out and moves away.

Vitalik looks to land a left hand but Hanson moved out of range nicely.
Hanson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vitalik throws out the jab.
No joy there for Vitalik, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hanson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vitalik finds it's way round the side to connect with Hanson's head.
Vitalik throws a lazy right hand but Hanson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hanson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vitalik is fending him off so far but Hanson persists. Nope, Vitalik circles away and we're back to standing.
A little feinted left hand from Vitalik on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Musa Vitalik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Hanson.
Vitalik throws a looping overhand right but Hanson ducks down to avoid it.
Vitalik misses with a straight right.
Vitalik looks to land a right hand but Hanson moved out of range.
Hanson tries to counter with a clinch but Vitalik shakes him off and moves away.

Hanson takes the fight into the clinch.
Hanson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hanson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Vitalik after a bit of a struggle.
Hanson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Vitalik controlling the action here for a moment.

Vitalik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Good exchange - Vitalik coming out on top.
Vitalik misses with a left hand

and Hanson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vitalik's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hanson passes Vitalik's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Hanson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vitalik is just riding it out for now. Hanson eventually gives up the hold.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

No luck for Hanson with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vitalik throws a right hand that Hanson ducks under and follows up with a left that Hanson also avoids with ease.
Vitalik lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Hanson out cold! Hanson is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
