The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Nti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dawson was well out of range. Poor timing from Nti.
Dawson lands a left and a right that send Nti crashing to the mat, dazed. Dawson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Addae Nti has been cut.
Nti misses the shot to the body.
Dawson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nti manages to avoid it.
As Dawson tries to get set, Nti tries to push him back and clinch up but Dawson manages to avoid the attempt.
Dawson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nti creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Dawson with a big uppercut! Dawson tries to clinch up but Nti pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Dawson to the mat! Dawson covers up and Nti unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
