With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Butch Frewin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boomer misses with a straight left.
Boomer tries to clinch up.
Frewin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boomer can pounce on him.
Frewin moves forwards but Boomer connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Frewin throws a lazy uppercut
and Boomer counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Frewin cracks Boomer with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Frewin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Boomer to stand back up!

Frewin goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Boomer tries to counter by clinching up but Frewin breaks away and moves out of range.
Frewin sizes up Boomer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Frewin is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Boomer had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Frewin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Boomer throws a jab when Frewin was well out of range.
Boomer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Frewin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Donk. Boomer catches Frewin right on the button with a cross.
Frewin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boomer manages to avoid it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Frewin seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Boomer shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Frewin is backing up but Boomer catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Frewin covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Boomer Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
