Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ovidio Kiran (ranked 179 p4p, 565 weight class) and Walter Payton (ranked 26 p4p, 85 weight class). Kiran's entrance music is Katmandu. A fine choice. Payton has chosen Andre Nickatina - Yeah as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Walter Payton is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Walter Payton!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payton scores with a jab.
Kiran swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kiran throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kiran. Payton does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kiran throws a lazy uppercut
and Payton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kiran swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Payton lands with a right hand.

Payton looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Payton sends Kiran crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Payton is motioning to the referee to let Kiran up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Payton throws a body punch but Kiran moves out of range.

Kiran has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts in the buildup to the fight.
Payton throws a body shot but no joy.

Kiran connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Payton's hands.

Kiran throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

It looked like Kiran was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Payton.
Payton has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kiran throws a jab but it's blocked by Payton.

Kiran fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Payton manages to avoid it.

Payton throws a series of punches but Kiran avoids them all with ease.
Kiran lands with a hook. Payton tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Payton smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kiran is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Payton takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kiran takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Payton lands a big right hand that sends Kiran crashing to the mat! Payton stays standing though and waves Kiran back to his feet!
Kiran throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Payton lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Kiran falls backwards - clearly groggy! Payton dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Walter Payton!

A less than humble Walter Payton misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Ovidio Kiran spoke after the fight, saying 'Lachhaar-pato! Back to the gym.'.
