And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 6 losses; Gauthier Delisle!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Esteves stuffs the takedown.
Delisle shoots in looking for a takedown. Esteves tries to sprawl out of it but Delisle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Esteves manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vartan Esteves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gauthier Delisle.

My spies in New York Training Academy inform me that Delisle has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Esteves just trying to survive but Delisle is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
You can see the frustration on Esteves's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Delisle is cranking Esteves's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Esteves! He's tightened the choke and Esteves is tapping out!
