The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Roy Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ali tries a head kick but it misses.

Walker takes the fight into the clinch.
Ali tries to pull guard but Walker holds him up against the cage and eventually Ali drops back down to his feet.
Walker lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ali backwards.
Walker stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Ali is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Walker gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walker is looking to take a break and control but Ali is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Walker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ali is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
