Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hakeem Adderley (ranked 694 p4p, 713 weight class) and Nori Voluspa (ranked 96 p4p, 98 weight class). Adderley comes to the cage accompanied by Genesis. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hakeem Adderley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nori Voluspa!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voluspa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Adderley.
Adderley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Adderley definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Voluspa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Voluspa or perhaps it was just good defense by Adderley, which made it look bad.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Voluspa working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Voluspa's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

As Voluspa backs away, Adderley returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Nori Voluspa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Voluspa shoots in but no luck this time.
Nori Voluspa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Adderley lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Nori Voluspa has been cut.

Adderley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Voluspa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Adderley's waist but Adderley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Voluspa off to one side.
Voluspa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Voluspa needs to keep his hands up - Adderley had a free shot at his head there.
Adderley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Voluspa can do to turn this around?

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Adderley just misses with a elbow thrown towards Voluspa's brow.

Adderley wants to stand but Voluspa has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Voluspa throws his legs up looking for a submission but Adderley uses it to pass to side control.
Adderley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Voluspa manages to work his way to half guard, despite Adderley's best efforts.

Adderley is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Voluspa gets his way!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Adderley lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Voluspa has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Adderley after a bit of a struggle.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hakeem Adderley.
I think Adderley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
