And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Kolov!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolov jabs Creole to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Creole fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kolov manages to avoid it.
Kolov throws a big shot that misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Creole misses its target.
Kolov fails to land the takedown.
A telegraphed right hand from Kolov misses the target.
Creole has a takedown stuffed.
The fighters circling - Creole throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kolov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Creole.
Creole is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Creole moves out of range of the strikes.
A little feinted left hand from Creole on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A slow jab from Kolov misses its intended target.
Creole wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Creole misses the jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Creole comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Creole cracks Kolov with a right hand to the side of the head.
Kolov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kolov is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Nice uppercut there from Creole.
Kolov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kolov there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kolov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Creole.
Creole throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kolov dips to his left and cracks Creole with an uppercut!

Creole cracks Kolov with an uppercut from hell and Kolov crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Creole's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Kolov is rocked!

It looks like Dan Kolov has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Creole arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Kolov's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cajun Creole!
In his post fight interview, Cajun Creole started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
