The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Simmons connects with a single shot there.
Man takes a jab right on the kisser.
Simmons is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Man misses with a takedown attempt - Simmons sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Simmons lands with a cross.

Man gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Man with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Simmons to score with a decent uppercut.

Simmons is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Man had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Man shoots in looking for a takedown but Simmons manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Man's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Man slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Man drops back looking for a leg! Simmons is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Simmons manages to kick Man off! Man jumps back into Simmons's guard.

Man is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Simmons is trying to escape and Man transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Simmons is forced to tap! Nice work there by Man! Very nice indeed!
