Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Piper (ranked 2131 p4p, 3036 weight class) and Ludko Struja Jr (ranked 311 p4p, 417 weight class). Struja Jr has chosen Wu-Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M. as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Piper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ludko Struja Jr!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper misses with an uppercut. Struja Jr saw that one coming.
Struja Jr feints the counter takedown.
Piper uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Struja Jr lands the left hand.
Struja Jr moves out of range as Piper strikes.
Struja Jr tests Piper's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Struja Jr throws a right and a left that both miss.
Piper uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Struja Jr.
Piper was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Piper misses with a body shot.
Struja Jr slips under a jab from Piper.
Struja Jr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Piper.
Struja Jr staying out of range there.
Struja Jr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A little feinted left hand from Piper on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Struja Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Piper tries to sprawl out of it but Struja Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Piper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Peter Piper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Struja Jr throws a right hand that Piper ducks under and follows up with a left that Piper also avoids with ease.
A little feinted left hand from Piper on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Struja Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Struja Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Struja Jr cracks a nice hook into Piper's ribs.

Piper moves into the clinch successfully.

Piper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Piper scores with a nice strike.
A big left from Piper misses.
Struja Jr jabs Piper to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Piper moves forwards but Struja Jr connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Piper closes the distance and clinches.

Struja Jr has picked Piper up - he's going for a ride! Struja Jr dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Struja Jr seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Struja Jr working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Piper is refusing to be controlled, as Struja Jr sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters circling - Piper throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Struja Jr feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pipers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Piper swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

enabling Struja Jr to counter with a crisp jab.
Struja Jr throws out a powerful jab.
Piper lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Struja Jr throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Peter Piper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Struja Jr wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Struja Jr throws an overhand right that lands on Piper's shoulder, as Piper tries to avoid the shot.
Struja Jr throws a body punch but Piper moves out of range.
Piper walks into a left hand.
Piper misses with a double jab.
Piper fails to land with a series of punches.
Struja Jr misses with a hook
and Piper counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Piper throws a right and a left that Struja Jr avoids nicely.
Struja Jr swings for the body but Piper moves out of range.
Piper is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Struja Jr moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ludko Struja Jr!
