Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Welch (ranked 3058 p4p, 2846 weight class) and Gazali Koekemoer (ranked 365 p4p, 347 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gazali Koekemoer!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welch's jab looks to have found its range, popping Koekemoer under the eye.
Welch throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Welch looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Koekemoer lets loose with a powerful body kick. Welch will feel that in the morning.
Welch looks to score with a jab to the body but Koekemoer is just out of range.
Welch throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Koekemoer to counter with a crisp jab.
Koekemoer feints and then cracks Welch's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Welch down.
Koekemoer looks for the body kick but Welch saw that one coming.
No joy there for Welch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Welch throws a lazy right hand but Koekemoer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Welch throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Koekemoer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Koekemoer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Koekemoer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Welch.
Welch works over Koekemoer's head and body with a nice combination.
Welch falls off balance throwing a combination
and Koekemoer counters with a slapping leg kick.

Koekemoer connects with a solid leg kick.
Welch just misses with a punch to the body.
Koekemoer dodges the punch combination from Welch.
Welch misses with a right hand
and Koekemoer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Welch lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Welch scores with a jab.
Welch misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Koekemoer.
And Koekemoer responds with a good body kick, but Welch manages to step out the way in time.
The fighters circling - Koekemoer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Welch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Koekemoer ducks under a wild hook from Welch.
Welch definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Koekemoer counters with a stiff right hand.
Koekemoer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Paul Welch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koekemoer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

No joy there for Welch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Welch lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Welch.

Koekemoer is rocked!
Welch connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Koekemoer! He's out on his feet! Welch rushes in and drops Koekemoer with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
