With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Mesquita!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesquita has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mesquita tries to pull guard but Jiet won't allow it.
Jiet tries to land a knee to the head but Mesquita blocks with his arms.
Mesquita jumps guard but Jiet turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

and Jiet counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Mesquita out cold! What a finish! Jiet is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Beanin Jiet!
After winning the bout, Beanin Jiet thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
