The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Soaki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Soaki tries for a takedown but Pappalardi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Soaki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
It looked like Pappalardi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Soaki.
Soaki wants to clinch but Pappalardi slips to the side
and Pappalardi counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A lazy left from Pappalardi finds it's target.

It looks like Tokoni Soaki has been cut.
Soaki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Soaki on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Soaki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Felix Pappalardi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tokoni Soaki.
Soaki walks into a left hand.
Pappalardi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at PhoQus Island Training in the buildup to the fight.
Soaki is looking to clinch but Pappalardi is avoiding it.
Pappalardi throwing a counter right hand but Soaki manages to avoid it.
Pappalardi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pappalardi was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Soaki tries for a takedown but Pappalardi circles away easily

and Pappalardi counters with a nice right hand that sends Soaki toppling to the canvas! Soaki scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Pappalardi finish him?!
