Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Colby Taylor (ranked 2570 p4p, 5964 weight class) and Santos Resi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos Resi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Santos Resi!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Resi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Taylor jumps guard but Resi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Resi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Resi pulls guard successfully.
Taylor is pushing down on Resi's leg trying to pass to half guard. Resi is fighting to maintain full guard but Taylor has managed to sneak the leg through.
Taylor content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Resi is trying to control but can't.
Taylor looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taylor moves into full mount! Resi won't be happy about that!

Resi is trying to stand but he's just given Taylor his back.
Taylor gets his hands free as Resi looks to control.
Resi tries to escape the position.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Resi looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Resi is trying to break free.

Taylor not allowing Resi to control his hands.
Resi rolls, trying to escape but Taylor keeps control of the position.
Taylor is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Taylor trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Resi doesn't escape.

Taylor's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Resi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Taylor's guard.
Taylor looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Resi is defending well. Taylor quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Resi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Taylor celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
