Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anatoly Zvezda (ranked 2053 p4p, 3885 weight class) and Trey Sheppherd (ranked 256 p4p, 409 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anatoly Zvezda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Trey Sheppherd!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheppherd throws a head kick but Zvezda moves out of range.
Sheppherd shoots in looking for a takedown but Zvezda manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sheppherd's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Zvezda closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sheppherd circles away.
Zvezda fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sheppherd leaves Zvezda with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anatoly Zvezda. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zvezda closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sheppherd circles away.
Zvezda will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Zvezda fails to land the takedown.
A nice side step and Sheppherd releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Sheppherd fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Sheppherd. No joy for Zvezda on that attempt.
Sheppherd throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zvezda gets a takedown into half guard.
Zvezda is nestled in close to Sheppherd, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sheppherd is looking for a sweep. Zvezda is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Zvezda definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Zvezda working over Sheppherd with some ground and pound. Sheppherd looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Sheppherd is trying to get back to full guard.
Zvezda is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Sheppherd wants to control but Zvezda is keeping busy.
Zvezda slips a nice elbow through Sheppherd's hands, connecting with Sheppherd's forehead.
Zvezda is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sheppherd!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sheppherd taking shots to the head.
Sheppherd tries to reverse the position but Zvezda maintains control.
Sheppherd wants to control but Zvezda is having none of it.
Zvezda in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zvezda working away from the top, dropping strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zvezda postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Sheppherd in real trouble here! The ref calls for Sheppherd to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anatoly Zvezda!
