This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 8 losses; Cicero Verus! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 19 losses; Kevin Walters!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Walters tries for a takedown but Verus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Verus moves in looking to clinch but Walters pushes him off.
Walters shoots in but Verus avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Verus controls Walters momentarily but Walters frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
