The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kendrick needs to keep his hands up - Brown had a free shot at his head there.
Kendrick avoids the body shot from Brown.
Kendrick drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Brown defends it well.

Brown lands a big head kick that sends Kendrick tumbling to the mat! Brown takes a step backwards and waves Kendrick back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kendrick tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it.

The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kendrick throws a jab when Brown was well out of range.

Brown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brown throws an overhand right that lands on Kendrick's shoulder, as Kendrick tries to avoid the shot.
Kendrick fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.
Brown throws a hook but Kendrick avoids it easily.
Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
Kendrick looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Brown takes one to the chin there.
Brown throws a lazy right hand but Kendrick sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kendrick uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brown.
Kendrick fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brown on the side of the head.
Brown lands a glancing blow to the side of Kendrick's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brown. Kendrick does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kendrick punishes Brown's body with a nice straight punch.
Brown throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Kendrick crashing down! Kendrick tries to stagger back to his feet but Brown just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Kendrick asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leroy Brown!
Leroy Brown seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Jalen Kendrick spoke after the fight, saying 'Sorry for the loss, I'm going to keep training and come back stronger. I'm not going anywhere, but sorry to my mom if she is still watching.'.
