Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Higgins is not content to let Yerzhanov control the position.
Yerzhanov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Yerzhanov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Higgins doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Yerzhanov.
Yerzhanov is stalling here. Higgins is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Yerzhanov seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Higgins has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Higgins is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Yerzhanov will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Yerzhanov is trying to control Higgins's posture but Higgins avoids it.

It looked like Higgins wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Higgins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Higgins moves into range and clinches up with Yerzhanov.
Yerzhanov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Higgins is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Yerzhanov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Higgins fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Don Higgins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Turlan Yerzhanov.
Yerzhanov tries to move into range but Higgins moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Turlan Yerzhanov has been cut.
A jab lands there for Higgins.
