Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stan Man (ranked 3674 p4p, 4844 weight class) and An Nguyen (ranked 184 p4p, 213 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stan Man!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, An Nguyen!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nguyen is defended easily by Man.
Nguyen closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nguyen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Man regains guard immediately.
Man is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Nguyen has gone for a leg lock! Man slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nguyen's guard.
Man makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Man wants to stand but Nguyen is controlling his posture from full guard.
Man passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Man looks up at the clock and then as Nguyen takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Man smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Nguyen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Man. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nguyen is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Man is trying to get an arm triangle but Nguyen is defending well.
Nguyen is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Man is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Nguyen throws a strike from the bottom but Man uses the opportunity to take his back.
Man has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nguyen can't escape the position.
Man is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Nguyen with him. Nguyen is trying to defend but Man has an arm under the chin now! Nguyen grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Stan Man!
